Your successful business based on MLM network marketing leads requires people. This is nothing other than a numbers game in that if you increase the number of people you talk to about your business, you will increase the number of people who join your mlm downline and make you money. In my last MLM network marketing leads post I discussed how to start getting your warm list of contacts. If you haven’t read that post yet then go here MLM leads and get the inside information.

Once you have your warm list it is time to start putting it to good use. Look over your list and pick out the five people you are sure would not be interested in your products or service. Maybe it is your friend Tom who hates MLM with a passion. Just pick five people you feel will be the least interested in what you are doing. You want the people who there is no chance of getting a positive response from.

Now call those five people. Tell them what it is you are doing and see if they would be interested in talking about it with you. If they say no, ask if they would like some information, ask if they know anyone else who might be interested, ask them if they would show the brochure to a few people and get a response. Then take or mail the brochure or catalog to them. In a week follow up with them ask if they have any questions or if they know of anyone who might be interested. Even if they are not interested, it has not been a failure because you knew they wouldn’t join anyway. This was just practice. You never expected them to be a good MLM business lead.

Then, tomorrow, pick the next five least likely people. Call them and go through the exercise again. Keep going until you have gone completely through your list. This accomplishes two things.

First you have let everyone you are acquainted with know what you do. Even if Tom turns you down, which he probably will, what happens if in a month he runs into someone who is looking for more income. He will remember your business and most likely tell his friend about you and your opportunity. Bingo, instant list building.

Secondly, after going through your list and giving your pitch 50 to 100 times, you will be an expert at sharing your MLM opportunity. From now on it will be the easiest thing in the world to talk to anyone about your business, even strangers.

A little secret. When calling people on your MLM marketing lead warm list, have only one name in front of you at a time. Have the name on an index card and look only at that name. This is less intimidating and allows you to focus on the one person you are talking to. It is a proven fact, the more times you share about your business the better you will become. A successful MLM network marketing lead business is possible if you play the numbers.

When composing your warm list of mlm business leads, do not prejudge whether you think they would be interested in the program. At this point you are only writing down names. Your list should include family-both immediate and extended, friends, neighbors, hairdresser, bank teller, child’s teachers and coaches, everyone you can put a first name to. When you get done there should be at least 50 names on you mlm opportunity lead warm list.

Sometimes thinking about this many names can be overwhelming. In this case break it up into 10 names at a time. Ten names is not near as scary as 50 or 100. The trick is to take out a plain sheet of paper. Number it 1 to 10. Put a name by each number. Once you get 10 names put the paper aside and get another blank sheet. Number it 1 to 10 and do the exercise again. Do this for 3 pages (that’s 30 names already) and then put the project down and go do something else for a while. Take a walk, wash the car, do the dishes-anything to get your mind off of the list. While you are gone your sub-conscious will still be thinking of names.

After your break, sit down and do the exercise again. Keep doing this until you absolutely can’t think of another name. By this time you will have a list of 100 to maybe 200 names to add to your mlm marketing lead warm list. You will be absolutely amazed at how many people you know on a first name basis. Over the next few days you will think of even more names so write them down on the list. A warm list is not a static document. It is meant to be added to whenever you meet someone new. You never know when the next person might be a great fit for your mlm downline.

You can easily double the size of your warm list with one Golden Question. “Who do I know that they know?” Every time you write down a name ask yourself who the person knows that you know. Think about the person and think about who you have seen around him or her. Chances are if you have seen the person on your list with someone else then you know that someone else also. Write their name on you mlm business lead list. Keep expanding your list over the next several days. Every time you go somewhere be aware of who you see and whether or not they are on your list. If not, put them on.

MLM Network Marketing Leads

So how do you build trust? There are several things to do starting with whatever advertising you are doing. If you are using small classified ads in newspapers and circulars or using Google network marketing you must start with a headline that is believable. Think about what your prospects are looking for. If your headline says “Make money by doing nothing,” then you are setting yourself up for failure. The people who answer this type of ad do not want to build a business, they want to win the lottery. The people who actually would work with you in a MLM business will not trust that you have a legitimate business model and will assume you have a get rich quick scam. The ones you want will not trust and you have just wasted the generation lead marketing MLM network efforts.

Do not try to answer all the questions inside the small ad. The only function of this ad is to give you MLM business leads. Talk about the future and giving your prospect a glimpse of the life they dream of. At this point don’t tell them they can work for their dream. They will work but they don’t really want to. But you have to make it believable. Again, you don’t want to scare the legitimate prospects away.

Once you get a response from the ad then you can give them more information. This is the point you will be at if you buy MLM leads. You can skip the prospecting stage and go right to the offering of your business model. This is the next step in gaining the trust of your potential business member.

Whatever program you are promoting you are sure to have canned sales pitches to use on your MLM network marketing lead. Most legitimate multilevel marketing plans will give you proven lines to use to convert the lead to your downline. It is up to you to build trust with the person while you are explaining the possibilities involved.

Look them in the eye. Don’t dominate the conversation. This must be like two friends talking not about a lecture. If you spend a half an hour talking to the MLM business lead you will not be building trust. How much do you trust a fast talking used car salesman? Instead, you build the trust by bringing them into the process by allowing them to ask questions and tell their story.

People like to talk about themselves and we tend to trust people who will listen to us. We feel a bond when others take the time to hear what we have to say. Make sure you give the propect time to share about their lives and then you can turn this information around and incorporate it into your pitch. For example, if the prospect says they lost a car use this later on to show how their own business can give them power. Say something like, “We feel powerless when we can’t pay our bills like when you lost the car but with your own business you are in control. You will never be at the mercy of the repo man again.” If you have a similar story you can add it here to show even more empathy with your MLM business lead.

If you are going to be successful converting MLM leads you must gain their trust. Give them a dream but not something that smacks of a scam. Let them be part of the process and offer their story to you. They will feel closer to you and that will build trust. Trust allows you to convert MLM network marketing leads successfully.

If you choose the correct words that portray the message you want then you have the possibility to bring the lead into your influence. Using the wrong words will drive the contact away and once they leave there is rarely a chance to convert them to your business again. If you buy mlm leads you have also lost the cost of the name. These are three things to keep in mind when talking to your prospective MLM network marketing lead so they do not turn into network marketing quitters.

Remember the human brain does not think in letters and words. When I say the word dog to you there is a picture in your mind of an actual dog. You do not see the word “DOG” made out of the letter “D” “O” “G”. The mind works in actually pictures and that is how we store memories. So instead of the word, you see a picture of maybe your current dog or your first dog or a dog you saw that day. You can use this knowledge of brain function to help your mlm business lead to see his or her future in the business instead of you just telling them about the opportunities.

Use word pictures as you present to your warm lead in order to paint a view of the positives grained from the business. Put them in the picture when talking about the results of making the kind of money they desire in the MLM network marketing business. Phrases such as “What would it look like if…?” “Can you see yourself…?” and “Imagine the feeling when you…?”, help your prospect to see their success with you. When the person can visualize the success they are ready to work toward it. If they can’t see themselves with a money making business they will not join your group.

Do not use Network Marketing language. Use words the prospective candidate can understand. Do not use “mlm downline” or “upline” to describe the levels in the business. Your warm lead probably has no idea what they mean and will not ask. Instead, they will feel uncomfortable and out of the loop. They will not join when they don’t understand. Instead, use terms like “team”, “leaders”, and “support system.” The prospect will understand these words that have positive pictures painted by them.

Drop the word OPPORTUNITY. People have been beat over the head with scams labeled as “Great Opportunities.” When your prospect hears this word the little voice in his or her head will instantly say, “Oh No. Not another one of those.” And they will not hear anything else you have to say. Instead, use the term business or vehicle. “I have found a vehicle to realize your dreams,” is a lot better than, “I have an opportunity for you.” A vehicle opens them up to asking “what is involved.” An opportunity tells them to run away as fast as they can.

Keeping these word choices in mind while you talk to your MLM network marketing lead will help you to bring the person along with you as you lay out the positive aspects of your business. If you don’t follow these rules, the candidate is likely to shut out everything you say no matter how long you talk. You should use this language whether you are talking in person or using MLM emails. If they don’t believe what you say, saying it louder makes no difference. And you will lose your MLM network marketing lead.

Like any business, leads are absolutely essential to the successful building process.  A business without leads might at well be a lead weight tied around your neck.  No matter how hard you work or how many hours you put in you will develop a MLM network marketing business.  Leads are the lifeblood of your business.

There are two types of leads we will focus on in this blog.  We will concentrate on people who just want a business to work on their own and we will also focus on the movers.  The movers are your downline who want to build a large, money making organization.  These are the people you really want to go after.  They are the ones who will build you downlines of 100, 500, or 1000 associates.

As you know, I am all about making a connection with the MLM network marketing lead in order to make it a win-win for everyone. Sometimes after you have signed a prospect they get a feeling like buyer’s remorse.

During your sales pitch the prospect is following along and really relating to what you have to say. You answer all their objections before they come up. You paint a picture of their success in your business. You hit all their personal trigger to tie your offer into their personal situations. Everything goes great.

But then the next morning. Maybe the prospect talks to his brother who says it was a stupid idea. Or maybe his wife is, shall we say, less than supportive. Your MLM business lead starts to doubt that he made the right decision. This is a common situation and a lot of deals are lost at this time.

So what do you do?

Your MLM business lead needs some reassurance and a welcoming gift is a great way to convince them the decision was sound. A great way to seal the deal is to give a 1950’s Candy gift basket. At this important stage of the deal your MLM lead needs reassurance and this is a great way to get it.

In my last post Using Goofle Search For MLM Network Marketing Leads I talked about using Google to find leads on the internet. As I said in that last post you have to target the leads to your immediate area in order to be relevant. There are a lot of resources out there to help with questions about how to use the search engines to drive local leads to you. A great place for help is Small Business Internet Marketing. The folks over there really work to offer good information for the small business web user like you.

When you are thinking about using the web to generate MLM Network Marketing Leads the thing to remember is you have to be in your prospect’s shoes. You must approach the internet as you would any other MLM business lead generating method. Think about what the prospect is looking for when they are after a money making opportunity.

The people you are looking for are not going to be searching for a “MLM opportunity” more than likely. Instead they are going to be searching for phrases such as “Make Money,” “Part-time Business,” “Make Extra Cash,” “How To Make More Money,” etc. But as I said before, if you try to target these search phrases you chances of getting anyone to visit your site is about zero because there are millions of other sites with these keywords.

Instead, target these phrases with your city attached. For example, “Make Extra Money Seattle.” Or maybe even “Make Extra Money West Seattle.” These phrases would be a lot easier to get search traffic for than the umbrella phrase “Make Extra Money.”

So how do you find out what phrases people are using to search for local “Make Extra Money?” You use one of the many tools on line (some free) that will list for you what words people use to type in a search. A good place to start is Google Adwords Keyword Tool. This tool is free and it allows you to start seeing what phrases people use to search for information in your area.

As soon as you know what phrases people are searching for you can target those phrases on your blog or website to get Google traffic. Once you get the traffic you can convert those MLM network marketing leads to members of your organization.

Most people think incorrectly that the internet is not a good place to look for MLM Network Marketing Leads. This assumption is great for you because you can get under the radar and get some valuable prospects.

The trick I have found is to optimize my site for keywords about making money or starting a business etc. combined with the city I am in. If you type “make money” into google you will get 17 billion or so search results back. Everyone and their mother are setting up web pages about making money online. So if you think you can optimize your site for “make money” you are going to be disappointed.

But. If you optimize for “make money (your city)” things change dramatically. Now you are targeting down to a niche of people in your city who are looking for making more money ideas. Did the light go on?

If you send those people to a web page or blog that is a sales page for the opportunity to make money at least some of those people will contact you. This is a great way to start building your MLM business lead base. Note: this page should talk in generalities using the triggers we talked about in this post.

Just give your MLM lead enough information to stoke their desire to call or email you for more information. Getting their email info is great because then you can build up a relationship with them over a few contacts that is non-threatening. By giving the MLM lead prospect good general information about making money you can become an expert in their eyes and when you make your offer it will have more believability.

When you have a web page or blog to send people to you open up a lot of other possibilities also. You can have prospects from other advertising media go to the website first and get them into your email system before you even talk to them. This gets rid of the people who are just going to waste your time shopping for an opportunity but never committing.

Your future MLM network marketing member wants to know what she can get from working with you.  People in sales call this WII FM radio.  It is the song that plays in your prospects mind all the time.  We are all focused on what we can receive from any situation. 

I am sure you care about others and do nice things for them (family, friends, charity, etc).  This giving is part of what makes us human.  But you certainly don’t care about what you can do for some guy with a Multi-level Network Marketing plan.

You must structure your pitch to concentrate on the triggers that will get your prospect to want to join your MLM Marketing Lead organization.  Here are some areas of interest to everyone.

1. Family.  Can your prospect use the business to give his family more.  What does his wife or her husband want that a little extra cash could provide.  Wouldn’t they feel great providing more for their children.  What about college and the future of the children.  And retirement is on the mind of everyone with less than 20 years to work.  Find out which family issues are on the prospect’s mind and target your pitch to that.
2. IHMJ syndrome.  Studies show that most the majority of people are not happy with their jobs.  Self-employment has always been a great selling point for MLM plans.  Give your prospect examples of others in the organization who have turned the program into a full time business with no boss.
3. Paying bills.  This isn’t glamorous by any means but in these days of economic troubles a little extra cash goes a long way to helping the family budget.  If you can show your prospect how to pay the car payment or the tax payment you will have their ears.  Almost all households are having a hard time stretching the budget.
4. Dreams.  What has your prospect always wanted to do, what is the car of his dreams, what trip has she always wanted to take.  Find the answer to these questions and you will go a longs way to tuning into their WII FM.  Dreams are powerful motivators.

Once you have the list of wants from you prospect, your lead presentation almost writes itself.  Show your prospects how the business plan can help them realize their dreams and you will have a willing audience.

If you talk to your prospects a little and listen A LOT it is amazing what you can find out.  People love to talk about themselves and about their dreams. Tapping into their wants is the only way you will be able to get your song played on the WII FM station of your MLM Network Marketing Lead.
