Have you started a MLM network marketing business or are you just contemplating it. Either way the biggest hurdle you will need to overcome is finding good leads to convert to your downline. You must have the right kind of people if you are interested in building a business that will grow and give you the level of income you desire and deserve. Without the right people your MLM business will not be able to give you what you want.
Network marketing leads are harder than normal sales ones because you are not just looking for people who want to buy something. You are looking to find people who want to build a business. The best mlm lead is someone who wants to better themselves and understands that the only way to get to a successful position is to work and build a business. You can sign up people left and right who are just looking for a get rich quick scheme but they will do absolutely nothing to help you build your down line into a powerful business. The best mlm leads are people who are already successful in some sort of business or are showing leadership or sales success in their current job. These skills transfer over very nicely to give this mlm network marketing lead a better chance of success.
A network marketing lead is absolutely worthless if it is not someone who can get the job done. Yu can give them all the mlm tips you want but if they are not willing to put in the work it doesn’t matter. You will not find success with them. The name of the game is not to sign up as many people as you can. The game is to sign up the few, the very few, who will actually deliver. You should interview the MLM prospects as much as you spend time on the sales pitch. When you are interviewing them ask them this question, “What do you want to do with this business.” If the answer is, “Get Rich,” that is a bad sign. Whenever I hear this answer the conversation turns from me trying to sell them on the program to them having to sell me on why they are good for the program. I have found that people who use this terminology do not want to build a business they want to win the lottery and that is not what MLM network marketing is all about.
There are a lot of ways to get the initial leads for MLM. One way is to buy a list of names from a MLM list broker. The idea here is the list supposedly contains the names of people who are hot prospects for what ever the offer is. In fact the advertising material for these lists usually uses the term hot prospect. The problem is you don’t really know where those names came from. When you buy MLM leads you are risking the possibility that you will just get a list of names who have shown an interest in some general topic such as Make Money or something like that. You generally don’t get people who are good targeted MLM prospects.
That is not to say that these lists are all bad. The problem is you need to approach this more as a MLM lead generation tool than as a hot list of MLM prospects. You need to understand that a large percentage of the people on this list will never be interested in MLM and you are wasting your time trying to convert them. So you have to do a mass mailing or mass emailing to find which people would be interested and then you can start the sales and conversion process. But when you buy MLM leads you have to pay for every name not just the ones that you find are ready and willing to find out about network marketing. So you can spend a lot of money on names that have absolutely no worth to you.
MLM lead generation is a science and an art. After a while you can start to determine which people are really interested in working a business and which ones are just time wasters because they never do anything. You can use the same ideas at affiliate lead marketing. MLM network marketing is based on finding those people who will actually contribute something. Many people sign up for affiliate programs but very few of them actuall do anything to build their business. It is like the people who buy Making Money book and leave them on the shelf or who buy Make Money courses on line and then never read the ebooks. The programs just stay on their harddrives.
The best mlm leads are people who want to do the work, learn the program, and build up their business. Anything else is just a waste of time when you are trying to convert a mlm network marketing lead into a successful downline member of your organization.

I thought MLM was supposed to cut out the middle men like advertisers and wholesalers so that it could bring lower costs…instead we see ridiculously priced vitamins, $100 6 packs of juice, phone services with ridiculous rates, financial services twice as expensive as anywhere else…etc etc…the list goes on and on.
Hey Andy,
Thought I would come on over to look at your new theme! We both need to change to images in the header I think. Also the guy(names Flynn)that developed this theme has a forum that he offers support for it. Anyway when you want to change anything there may well be a thread on it.
Take care
Hi Jerry,
Thanks for stopping by. The new theme has only been up for a few days and I still need to do some tweaking but I do like the layout. I an looking for a better header image.
I agree,
I think those types of MLM businesses don’t last long because they are more like a pyramid scheme than a long term business plan. the long term MLM businesses do offer value.
