MLM network marketing lead generation is a numbers game. The more people you talk to the more chances you have of finding people interested in you program. The most important part of developing your mlm leads is your warm list. A warm list is nothing more than a list of everyone, (this means everyone) you know on a first name basis.
When composing your warm list of mlm business leads, do not prejudge whether you think they would be interested in the program. At this point you are only writing down names. Your list should include family-both immediate and extended, friends, neighbors, hairdresser, bank teller, child’s teachers and coaches, everyone you can put a first name to. When you get done there should be at least 50 names on you mlm opportunity lead warm list.
Sometimes thinking about this many names can be overwhelming. In this case break it up into 10 names at a time. Ten names is not near as scary as 50 or 100. The trick is to take out a plain sheet of paper. Number it 1 to 10. Put a name by each number. Once you get 10 names put the paper aside and get another blank sheet. Number it 1 to 10 and do the exercise again. Do this for 3 pages (that’s 30 names already) and then put the project down and go do something else for a while. Take a walk, wash the car, do the dishes-anything to get your mind off of the list. While you are gone your sub-conscious will still be thinking of names.
After your break, sit down and do the exercise again. Keep doing this until you absolutely can’t think of another name. By this time you will have a list of 100 to maybe 200 names to add to your mlm marketing lead warm list. You will be absolutely amazed at how many people you know on a first name basis. Over the next few days you will think of even more names so write them down on the list. A warm list is not a static document. It is meant to be added to whenever you meet someone new. You never know when the next person might be a great fit for your mlm downline.
You can easily double the size of your warm list with one Golden Question. “Who do I know that they know?” Every time you write down a name ask yourself who the person knows that you know. Think about the person and think about who you have seen around him or her. Chances are if you have seen the person on your list with someone else then you know that someone else also. Write their name on you mlm business lead list. Keep expanding your list over the next several days. Every time you go somewhere be aware of who you see and whether or not they are on your list. If not, put them on.
