A tried and true method for developing MLM business leads is to use small classified ads. Historically this was done in newspapers but with the increase in internet usage and decrease in newspaper circulation web based classified are certainly worth using. Marketing with classified ads is popular online because it is cost effective and it works to increase network marketing searches.
Before we get started it’s crucial that we shoot down one very old writing myth: the idea that you must get it right the first time. Hardly anyone can put together a successful classified ad in mere minuets on their first attempt. Professional copy writers will write 20-30 variations of each section of the ad in order to put together a well written classified ad that delivers.
Your classified ad should contain the following: an attention grabbing headline a compelling body, and a clear call to action. A copy writer who is able to produce a profit pulling ad knows that every each one needs to have all those parts and that each part has a particular function.
The headline
Your headline sells your ad. The headline is the ad for your ad. The full advertisement may never get read without an attention grabbing headline. This is why 80 percent of your time should be spent creating a headline that will capture the attention of the reader. If you don’t pull your readers in from the beginning, the chance of you generating a good MLM network lead is slim. Avoid making the mistake of writing cute or sensational headlines with no relevance to the offer. Some people think this gains attention but it rarely does and if so it is the wrong kind of attention.
Even if you do get one or two sales you won’t be creating a positive business to customer (B2C) relationship. No MLM business (or any business for that matter) can survive without that. The headlines only job is to get the reader to read the first line of the body. Your headline should excite the reader. Use action words and avoid sounding passive in your classified ad. Marketing with classified ads should not be a passive activity.
You can try creating curiosity asking a question or making a provocative statement. Remember, you must draw the reader into reading the rest of the ad. Tap into the reader’s question of “what’s in it for me?” The way to get a good headline is to test, test, test. Keep testing always to find the most powerful pulling words
The Body
The purpose of the body is to keep the MLM network lead interested and move him or her along toward the call to action. The body must clearly lay out the benefits of owning the product or the service. Or in our case, paint a picture in the readers mind of the riches that can be had by following up on the call to action. In contrast, you can also point out what the prospect will be missing out by not joining our MLM network business.
In other words, the body should answer the “what’s in it for me” question. Make a list of all the benefits of the program you offer and pick the ones that seem most powerful. Use these when constructing the body of the ad for MLM leads. Like in the headline, test different bodies to find the one that gives you the best conversion.
Remember you want to develop a list of what joining will do for the prospect not what joining can do. What being a member of the organization will do for the potential lead is a benefit, what being a member can do is a feature. You must understand the difference between these two if you want to be successful with a buy mlm lead campaingn.
The Call To Action
The call to action is what you want the reader to do. Do you want them to visit your site, call and leave a message for more information, or leave their name and number for a call back. At this stage of the network marketing process it is better to talk to the MLM lead in person. If you have a convincing sales pitch for the offer you will have more success at converting than a web site or further information.
Whatever the desired action, you want to create a sense of urgency. Why? Because your call to action must be more important than whatever the potential member is doing when they read the ad. You do not want the MLM business lead to put down the add or surf off of the classified page thinking they will return later to call about the information. They may plan to call but they won’t and you will have lost a hot, hungry MLM network marketing lead.
