Try to find out what the customers on the list were looking for.
You also need to determine how old the names are. If they are more than a year old then the value of the list goes down dramatically. Think about how many people have moved in that time. How many people have changed there life situations? If the prospects haven’t found a program in over a year of searching they are probably serial searchers not business builders. Some people spend all their time getting information about opportunities but never implement any of them. These are not the types of people to build a MLM network marketing business on.
You must be very careful when starting out on a list buying campaign. It can be very easy to spend a lot of money and get nothing in return. If you are contemplating buying a list as the broker if you can test a few names. If you are buying a 1000 name list you should be able to test 10% of them to see if they convert. If none of them sign up I would look for a new opportunity. The proof is in the pudding with a list. If you want to buy mlm lead you have to be careful of the potential land mines.
List can be very useful if you take the time to search out the particulars. Find out the value of the names before you spend money on a group of potentially worthless names. If you do your homework you can buy MLM lead for profit.
